Two Days Left

Two days of school left and I am running out of ideas! Although today I thought I came up with a pretty good idea. I went on Google and chose a random picture, it was of an old man, talking on the telephone while walking his dog. We had a writing competition to see who could come up with the funniest story using that picture. Most of the stories were a little outrageous and at first the students didn't even want to do the activity. We did it and had a few good laughs. It took up time so that was a plus!

I'm ready for the next two days to FLY by! Ready for some rest.

First blog of the year!

I decided since I am going on my second year of teaching, I need to start blogging about all of the crazy yet interesting things that happen within my classroom walls! I spent the last year teaching fifth grade in a rather energetic/disrespectful class. I'm hoping that my next adventure- teaching second grade will be enjoyable! I'm looking for new and creative things to do within my classroom. I can't wait to get started! Three days of school left and I will be on my way to planning next years endeavors!
